The Càtedra Pirineus UdL awards aim to recognize the research work done in the academic field that focuses primarily on the heritage of the Pyrenees. The best Bachelor’s and Master’s theses from the previous academic year are awarded.

Similarly, unpublished research projects focusing on the heritage of the Pyrenees are also recognized. In this case, the winner receives financial support to develop their research.
