The Chair of Education and Intangible Heritage of the Pyrenees offered a presentation on the interpretation and use of heritage resources in Lleida
On November 23 and 24, the Chair of Education and Intangible Heritage of the Pyrenees participated in the first International Congress of the Institute for Social and Territorial Development (INDEST) organized by the University of Lleida (UdL). Within the technical seminar, Sofía Isus, director of the Chair, Marc Ballesté, project manager of the chair, and Laia Giralt, were in charge of holding a conference in which they talked about the summer solstice fire festivals in the Pyrenees. The UdL held for the first time this INDEST International Congress on Social and Territorial Development that aims, on the one hand, to bring together researchers from the institute itself, from the field of social sciences and humanities, with the aim of strengthen and make their work and research visible. On the other hand, the Congress is also proposed as a framework for the exchange of knowledge and experiences between INDEST researchers and other research groups and institutions.
