We have been working on the drafting of the bases for a Safeguard Model for the Falles, Haros, Halhas and Brandons festivities
From the Chair of Education and Intangible Heritage of the Pyrenees, as a result of the incorporation of the Falles, Haros and Brandons festival in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, the bases for a safeguard model have been drawn up. A document that sets out the recommendations, demands and ethical principles to all UNESCO member states, the so-called General Assembly.
This text establishes the bases for a safeguard model for the Falles, Haros, Halhas and Brandons festivities that serves the entities or organizations that have to manage the tradition. It is not a fixed guideline to follow, but a useful tool that can also be extended to other festivals.
